Season 1
The current season is NEON SEASON 1. It started on 1 August 2026 and ends on 7 December 2026 at 00:00 UTC. The home screen and the Season screen show how much time is left, and in the last three days the timer turns amber.
Earning season XP
Everything you fly earns season XP, in every mode:
- Runs. Each run gives 5 XP, plus 1 for every 50 points you score, up to 50 XP. Any run of 2,250 points or more earns the full 50.
- Daily missions. You get three a day, and each one you claim adds 25 XP. Once you have three unassisted Endless runs behind you, a fourth HARD mission joins them.
- Weekly missions. Three a week, worth 60 XP each.
There's no daily cap on season XP, so more play always moves you forward. Mission targets also grow with you: after a few Endless runs, score and sector goals are set from your recent results, so they stay a stretch rather than a formality.
Tiers and the two tracks
The pass has 60 tiers. Each tier takes 150 XP, so the whole track is 9,000 XP. Every tier has a reward on the free track and another on the premium track. Rewards don't arrive on their own: open the Season screen and claim them.
Here's what the two tracks hold across all 60 tiers:
| Free track | Premium track | |
|---|---|---|
| Coins | 6,850 | 4,200 |
| Gems | 105 | 235 |
| Pre-run items | 12 | 12 |
| Exclusive looks | None | The season's looks |
The pre-run items are one-run boosts for Endless, such as SHIELD and HEAD START on the free track, and COLD BARREL and FEVER KICK on the premium one.
In Season 1, the premium track's looks are two themes that change the background of your runs: EMBER at tier 30 and AURORA at tier 60. They aren't sold for gems, so the pass is the only way to get them. If you already owned one of them before it became a pass reward, you keep it.
The pass is optional. Every ship and every mode stays open without it, and the free track pays out to everyone.
Buying the pass
The season pass is an optional in-app purchase, sold in the Shop while the season is running. It covers that one season. On the web you sign in before buying, so the pass stays with your pilot on every device.
You can buy it partway through without missing anything. The premium reward for every tier you've already reached becomes claimable straight away.
After tier 60
Reaching tier 60 doesn't end the climb. A bonus lane opens, and every further 300 XP pays 150 coins. Each of those bonus steps is also a Veteran level:
| Veteran level | Frame |
|---|---|
| 1 | BRONZE |
| 5 | SILVER |
| 10 | GOLD |
| 25 | NEON |
| 50 | LEGEND |
You keep your best frame after the season ends. It shows on the Season screen and as a coloured outline around your row on the Ranks boards. Your season tier also counts toward the SEASONED medal.
When a season ends
When the timer runs out, season XP stops counting and the Season screen reads SEASON CLOSED. Anything you reached but didn't claim stays claimable. The home screen shows a SEASON ENDED card with a CLAIM ALL button, and past-season rewards still waiting are counted on the home screen too, so missing the final day doesn't cost you anything you'd already earned.
During the last three days, the Season screen also tells you when the next season begins. In the iPhone and Android apps you can turn on reminders, and one of them lands as the final three days start.
Make the most of a season
- Claim your daily missions. Three claims a day add 75 XP, the same as one and a half strong runs.
- Keep an eye on the weekly missions. Each is worth more than a full-value run.
- Play the modes you enjoy. The Daily, the Weekly Lab, Ace and Endless all earn XP by the same rule, so there's no wrong way to climb.
